The Blues didn't get off to the start they wanted as they went 5-0 down to Granges. Gary Cowan with another 2/2. Michael Higgins got a frame on the board to make the score 6-1 at the break. Craig Laughlin arrived to win 2/2 to give The Blues a chance but it wasn't enough as Granges went on to win comfortably 10-4.

The top of the table clash between Ferrets and Wayside was a tight game as expected. Wayside 4-3 up at the break, Ferrets captain Alan Stewart with 2/2. Cameron Agnew brought the game level but Wayside kicked into gear and won 3 in a row to put the game to bed, best for Wayside was John McNeilly and Gary Rutherford both with 2/2.

Over in Parkview it was a debut to remember for Mark 'Mouse' Turkington as he won 2/2 vs The Hasbeens. Unfortunately his teammates didn't follow his lead as the game finished 11-3. Simon Mcconnell, Gary Neeson, Alastair Wilson and Deeky Wilson all with 2/2 for the Hasbeens.
