The Ballyclare and District Pool League 2015/16 season gets under way on Thursday 17th September 2015. McConnells have left Ballyclare to join the Carrick League and we wish them all the best. That leaves 7 teams to battle it out for the League title. Hasbeens should start as favourites, although Wayside will think otherwise. Tweedies have signed 75% of the population of Northern Ireland so they could too have a say in where the League trophy goes. Aaron Kirkwoods Blues will have plenty to shout about and are looking forward to getting started despite having to miss out the first week. Granges are a good steady side and will be hard to beat at home. 'Ghostie' has taken his side from The Grange Bar to Parkview Hockey Club and they'll be hoping to cause a few shocks throughout the season. We welcome a new side to the league this season, a reformed Ferrets side, captained by Alan Stewart and we wish them all the best for the season ahead. Good luck to all teams.
