Thursday 30th May will either see Wayside 'A' crowned as new 2012/2013 Ballyclare & District League Champions or it will see McConnells take it to a play off decider. The maths are simple, to take it to a decider Stuart Hull's McConnells must beat Wayside in the final fixture of the season. A draw or win for Wayside will give Kyle Kirkwood's team the title of Champions. McConnells have also to meet Davy Montgomery's Grinders in the Sport 'n Sound Cup Final on Thursday 6th June.
The Player of the Year crown will also be decided when McConnells meet Wayside. John McNeilly leads Jeff Moore by a single point with the prospect of the duo getting drawn against each other in the match.
And to add even more spice to the end of season results there are 2 places up for grabs in the NIPA Champions of Champions Competition on Sunday 16th June where League Winners and Cup Winners are invited to participate for the title of best Blackball team in NI. If a team wins the double of League and Cup then the 2 teams invited are League Winners and Runners Up. All to play for, fopr Wayside, McConnells and Grinders. Good luck to all 3 teams.
