Holders John McNeilly and Neil Campbell have been drawn in the 'Group of Death', alongside all 4 McConnells pairings, as well as the tricky father and son pairing of Jamesie and Josh McIlroy. Grinders pairing Mervyn McIlvenny/Jonny Johnston, along with Dessie Cooper/ Stewart Frew will be favourites to progress from the Five Corners, whilst the experienced pairings of Stephen Herron/Michael Wilson and Iain Britton/Simon McConnell are favourites to make finals night from the McConnells section. The group playing in the Wayside Inn looks a more open affair, with Grange pairing Gary Cowan/Brian Shannon early favourites.
