Grange have won the Sport 'n' Sound Cup, beating McConnells 8-5 in the final which took place in the Ballad Inn on Thursday 25th March. The match had been tight with the scores level at 5-5 after 10 frames but Grange finished stronger winning 3 in a row to take the trophy by 8-5. It's a low end to the season for McConnell's, as only last week they were hopeful of a League and Cup double. But they did secure some success this season with their players winning the League Individual and Doubles events.
And well done to Gary Cowan of Grange who has just won the Ballyclare and District Pool League "2009/10 Player of the Year" award.
